Silicon Audio, Inc. (“Silicon Audio,” “we,” “us”) respects the privacy of visitors to siaudioseismic.com (the “Site”). This policy describes the information we collect through the Site, how we use it, the circumstances under which we disclose it, and the choices available to you. It applies to the Site only. It does not apply to information collected offline, under contract, or through any other channel, which is governed by the terms of the applicable agreement.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide. When you submit a form on the Site, subscribe to updates, or contact us directly, we collect the information you choose to give us. This typically includes your name, organization, email address, telephone number, and the content of your message.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, our systems and the service providers described in Section 4 record standard technical information, including your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring page, the pages you view, the date and time of your visit, and general geographic region derived from your IP address. This information is collected through server logs and the cookies and similar technologies described in Section 3.
We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13, and the Site is not directed to them.
2. How we use information
We use the information we collect to respond to inquiries and requests for technical or sales information; to administer, secure, and improve the Site; to understand how visitors use the Site in aggregate; to send information about our products and services when you have asked for it; and to comply with legal obligations. We do not use Site information to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
3. Cookies and similar technologies
The Site uses cookies and similar technologies for three purposes.
Essential. Cookies required for the Site to function, including security and form-submission integrity. These cannot be disabled through the Site.
Analytics. Cookies that allow us to measure aggregate Site traffic and usage, such as which pages are visited and how visitors arrive at the Site. This information is used to improve the Site and is not used to identify individual visitors.
Form and contact management. Cookies set by our customer relationship management platform that associate a form submission with a visitor session so that we can respond to inquiries and avoid duplicate records.
Most browsers allow you to refuse or delete cookies through their settings. Doing so may limit some Site functionality, including form submission.
4. Service providers
We use a small number of third-party service providers to operate the Site, including a hosting provider, a customer relationship management platform that processes form submissions and contact records, and a website analytics service. These providers process information on our behalf, under contractual obligations to protect it, and only for the purposes described in this policy. We do not permit them to use Site information for their own purposes.
5. Disclosure of information
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We disclose information only to the service providers described above; to professional advisers bound by confidentiality; where required by law, subpoena, court order, or a lawful request from a government authority; where necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Silicon Audio, our customers, or the public; or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case the successor will be bound by this policy with respect to previously collected information.
6. Data retention
We retain form submissions and correspondence for as long as needed to respond to the inquiry and maintain a record of the business relationship, and thereafter as required by applicable law or our record-retention obligations. Server logs and analytics data are retained in identifiable form for no longer than necessary to serve the purposes in Section 2 and are then aggregated or deleted.
7. Security
We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect Site information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction, including encrypted transport (TLS), access controls, and monitoring. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your choices and rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you, and you may withdraw consent to receive product information at any time, by contacting us at the address in Section 11. We will respond within the time required by applicable law. Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have additional rights, including the right to object to or restrict certain processing and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
9. International visitors
The Site is operated from the United States. Information collected through the Site is processed and stored in the United States and is subject to United States law, which may differ from the law of your jurisdiction. By using the Site, you consent to the transfer and processing of your information in the United States.
10. Changes to this policy
We may revise this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of the page indicates when it was last revised. Material changes will be indicated on this page. Your continued use of the Site after a revision constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
